Starkville teenager Jennifer Jeffries eliminated from ‘American Idol’
SUMMARY: Jennifer Jeffries’ time on “American Idol” ended Monday as she didn’t make it into the top 14. Following what judges called a weak performance on Sunday, Jeffries was not voted into the top 10 by fans. However, she had a chance to fight for one of the last four spots in a sing-off. Despite her strong comeback performing Kodaline’s “All I Want,” which Luke Bryan praised as possibly her best, she didn’t advance. Instead, Roman Collins, Nya, Jayna Elise, and Jordan Anthony were chosen to join the top 10 finalists. Jeffries, who just turned 18, is noted for her unique voice.
