SUMMARY: Less than a month away from the one-year anniversary of a devastating tornado, Sister Core is sending 45 volunteers from Monroe County to help with storm recovery efforts. Beginning on March 17th, the volunteers will work on repairing homes, restoring damaged areas, and removing debris for families affected by the tornado. Sister Core is working with the Monroe Strong Long-Term Recovery Committee to identify homeowners in need of assistance. This initiative aims to provide support and aid to those still dealing with the aftermath of the destructive storm that hit the area last year.

Sister Corps is sending out 45 volunteers to Monroe County, March 17th. They will participate in a week of repairing and restoring homes.
