Reform police officer under investigation for taser incident caught on video
SUMMARY: A Reform, Alabama police officer was caught on video using a taser on a man in handcuffs without any apparent resistance. The man had informed the officer of a gun, which she then found and laughed before using the taser and using profanity. A physical altercation had reportedly occurred before the video started. The officer was placed on administrative leave, and the police department requested an investigation from the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation. The man was facing drug charges, and his identity had not been released. The incident occurred on December 2. A concerned citizen shared the video with local news.
