Red Hill community celebrated heritage reunion
SUMMARY: The Red Hill community recently gathered for a much-anticipated reunion since COVID, honoring its oldest member, 92-year-old Annie Daniels, who attended with her family. The Heritage reunion aims to educate attendees about the community’s history and its notable figures. Community members emphasize the importance of knowing their roots and fostering a love for family and community among the younger generation. Originally, many Red Hill residents migrated across the country during the Great Migration in the 20th century. The first reunion took place in Michigan, and subsequently, it has been held in Red Hill biennially.
