Purvis man sentenced to 3 years for false tax return
SUMMARY: Terance Dewune Price, a tax preparer from Purvis, Mississippi, has been sentenced to serve almost three years in federal prison for assisting in the preparation of a false tax return. Price was found to have aided in the preparation and presentation of a false US Individual Income Tax Return in 2017. The investigation discovered that the return contained false information regarding a Residential Energy Credit and Federal Income Tax Withheld. Price pleaded guilty to the charges and has been sentenced to 34 months in prison, as well as a fine of $15,000 and restitution of over $58,000 to the IRS.

Ole Miss building thousands of factory-made dorm rooms to meet housing demand
