SUMMARY: Democratic gubernatorial candidate Brandon Presley has challenged incumbent Governor Tate Reeves to five debates across Mississippi. Presley stated that he is not afraid to face the people of Mississippi and believes that citizens are owed debates from candidates for Governor. Presley accused Reeves of being involved in the largest welfare scandal in state history and suggested that Reeves does not want to answer for his role in it. As of August 14th, Reeves has not responded to Presley’s challenge.
