Poplar Springs Elementary hosts ‘The Masked Reader’ event for students

Each , students listened to a new book and guessed which teacher was reading it. A teacher emphasized the importance of strengthening students' reading skills, especially for the third-grade GATE test. The goal was to get kids about reading and show them that it can be fun. Students were also encouraged to take AR tests to track their progress towards their AR goals. The GATE test is a standardized test that all third-grade students must pass to advance to the fourth grade.

Cameras capturing hundreds speeding through school zones
