Police investigating deadly shooting on Cambridge Drive in Lexington
SUMMARY: A man was shot and killed at a Lexington apartment complex on Cambridge Drive around 5:00 PM. He sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital, where he later died. This incident is the city‘s 11th homicide of the year, compared to 15 at this time last year. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Lexington Police or report tips anonymously to Bluegrass Crimestoppers.

4 people killed in Indiana plane crash identified
SUMMARY: Four individuals from Iowa were confirmed as victims of a plane crash in central Indiana. The single-engine aircraft took off for Dodge, Iowa, before crashing in a cornfield near Anderson on Friday morning. The sheriff noted that the pilot was instructed to reroute for landing due to being at too high an altitude. A nearby worker reported hearing the plane, describing its sound as abnormal before hearing a loud thud. The victims’ ages range from 36 to 68 years.
