Jackson, Miss. (July 20, 2023) – Point Eight Power, Inc., manufacturer of power distribution systems, is set to open a new manufacturing plant in Hancock County. With a corporate investment of almost $7.75 million, this project is expected to generate 78 direct jobs.
The decision to establish the manufacturing plant in Mississippi was driven by Point Eight Power's recognition of the local workforce talent and the favorable site location.
The Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance for building improvements. MDA also is providing assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive, or MFLEX. Hancock County is assisting with the project, as well…
