Petal Central Bsuiness District welcomes baseball facility

SUMMARY: The first business in the city of Petal’s central business district is making progress. Jay Harrison, spokesperson for the district, spoke with the owner about what people can expect once the facility is open. Earlier this year, the city of Petal cut the ribbon to its new central business district, which includes a baseball training facility. Owner Josh Kittrell decided to open the facility after seeing his childhood favorite, the old batting cage by Ward, close its doors. Kittrell recalls many Petal people remembering the old batting cage before every baseball game they played, including him and his dad.

The city is now preparing to welcome its first business to the district, a baseball training facility.
