Pepsi Pet of the Week: Dallas (01/30/2024)
SUMMARY: Merete Mallet from the Jackson County Animal Shelter brought along a cute puppy named Dallas to be adopted. Dallas is one of five puppies, about eight weeks old, and ready to be neutered and go home. All the other puppies are boys, and they are all looking for love in all the right places, in homes all around southwest by the Jackson County Animal Shelter.

St. Patrick's Track and Field team dominates at State Meet with the Girls winning the 3A State
SUMMARY: The St. Patrick Catholic High School track and field team had an exceptional day at the mhsaa 3A state championship in Jackson. The girls team dominated the leaderboards, winning the championship and setting a school record in the 4×400 relay. The boys team also performed well, with a runner-up finish and a school record in the 4×800 relay. Individual winners included Bella Jordan, Jaden Wear, and Delan Sheen for the girls, and Jack Hughes, Joseph Ross, and Mason Ray for the boys. Overall, it was an outstanding performance by the St. Patrick program, showcasing pure talent and skill.
