If a child is the bully, parents should also examine what is happening at home. Dr. Banks emphasizes the importance of communication in preventing bullying and the potential for self-harm. The suicide rate for children aged 10-14 has tripled from 2007 to 2018, making it crucial for parents to be vigilant and create a safe and supportive environment for their children.
