Ole Miss men’s basketball defeats Florida for first SEC win

SUMMARY: Ole Miss men’s basketball team secured its first SEC win of the season, defeating Florida 103-85. This was their first time scoring over 100 points since 2001. Jaemyn Brakefield led the team with 28 points, with Matt Murrell adding 23 points. The Rebels dominated the game, leading by as many as 23 points and never giving up the lead in the second half. The team also displayed excellent defensive performance, with 16 blocks, nine of which came from Jamarion Sharp. This win improves their season record to 14-1 under head coach Chris Beard.
