OXFORD — Lane Kiffin has weighed in.
After Jon Sokoloff of WCBI News in Columbus, Mississippi, reported Monday evening hat the Ole Miss football coach is headed to Auburn to be the Tigers’ next coach, Kiffin issued a denial via his favorite medium: Twitter and emojis.
“That’s news to me Jon,” Kiffin wrote. “Nice sources.”
Kiffin’s name has been swirling in rumors relating to the Auburn gig since the Tigers fired Bryan Harsin in late October.
Set to conclude his third season in charge of the Rebels, Kiffin is 23-11, owning the third-best winning percentage of any coach in Ole Miss history.
