New Field House Will Give Picayune Football A Bigger Facility To Shape Top Talent

SUMMARY: 's high school football program in Mississippi, renowned for its excellence and four championships in the past 12 years, consecutive titles in 2021 and 2022, is set to a major upgrade with a new state-of-the-art facility at Lee-Triplett Stadium. Coach Cody Stogner emphasized the necessity for the new 10,000-square- field house, due to be complete by August, highlighting that the growing program had outgrown its previous facilities. The new building will feature a larger weight room, film room, and room, and will also accommodate junior high and ninth-grade teams. The former field house will be repurposed as a band hall. Stogner praised the unwavering from administrators and the school board and credited the current and past athletes and coaches for their role in achieving this milestone for the program.

SUMMARY: Three sophomores from Mississippi Coast's national championship golf team—Will Burnham, Wise, and Andrew Zielinski—received Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar for their academic and athletic achievements. To qualify, players must participate in at least 50% of competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 77, and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2. Burnham, ranked No. 1 nationally, graduated with a 3.84 GPA and will play at Southern Miss. Wise, with a 3.65 GPA, will continue at Mississippi , and Zielinski, ranked No. 2, graduated with a 3.92 GPA and will join Lee .
