New details emerge in preliminary hearing for Allen Marcus Gardner, suspect in murder of MJ Danie…
SUMMARY: Excitement surrounds Friday Night Football, but attention is drawn to the preliminary hearing for Alan Gardner, accused in the murder of USM football player MJ Daniels Jr. Gardner, now 18, faces charges of attempted armed carjacking and capital murder for the June 11 shooting while Daniels sat in his car. Testimony revealed Gardner, who suffered a traumatic brain injury in a recent accident, provided no useful statements to police. His attorney argued for dismissal based on lack of probable cause, but the judge found sufficient grounds to proceed, sending the case to the grand jury. The next court date is pending.
Allen Marcus Gardner’s preliminary hearing was held in court Friday afternoon.
