NEMCC Campus Police Chief's procession to funeral home held Saturday night

SUMMARY: This morning, a video of the procession for the campus police chief from Northeast Mississippi Community College who passed away on Saturday was released. The procession, from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville to the funeral home in New Albany, showed a line of law enforcement with flashing lights. The college president, Ricky Ford, and other law enforcement officials were present to escort the body. Chief Anthony Anderson, 61, passed away after collapsing at a basketball game. He is survived by his wife, three children, and two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending. Our thoughts are with Chief Anderson’s family and the Northeast Community.
