Mississippi woman known for crashing weddings, stealing gifts dies

SUMMARY: Known as the Southeast Wedding Crasher, 57-year-old Sandra Henson died of natural causes, confirmed by the Alcorn County Coroner. She was connected to thefts at many weddings in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama. Henson was charged multiple times but continued to steal money and gifts from newlyweds. In 2023, she was discovered near purses at a wedding venue and was caught stealing money from them. It was also revealed that she was on probation at the time of her death. Despite being in bad health, some believe that the toll of court appearances and medical complications may have contributed to her death. Her family could not be reached for comment.
