Mississippi National Guard reports two fatalities as a result of a military helicopter crash

SUMMARY: A helicopter crash in a rural area north of Baldwyn, Mississippi resulted in the tragic loss of two guardsmen on board. The helicopter, an AH-64 Apache, was on a routine training flight when it crashed at around 2 pm. The Mississippi National Guard is conducting an investigation into the crash and are providing casualty assistance to the families of the soldiers. First responders and safety crews are on the scene working with local authorities. Governor Tate Reeves expressed his condolences and asked for thoughts and prayers for the Mississippi National Guard and their families during this difficult time.
