Mississippi lawmakers pitch plan to address Delta healthcare
SUMMARY: A proposal to address the ongoing healthcare crisis in the Mississippi Delta was presented at the State Capitol. The plan involves creating a Delta Rural Health Authority to establish a collaborative healthcare system in the region, where hospitals and healthcare facilities would share resources.
