SUMMARY: The Tigers are getting ready for the NCAA tournament after winning their first SWAC title in 13 years. In Clinton, the Choctaws of Mississippi College are in control of their regional after a 6-3 win over Tampa. McCall Lee and Ashley Light Cap helped put the Choctaws ahead early in the game. The Choctaws made clutch plays on defense to secure the win, with Camryn Bailey forcing a game-ending ground out. The team’s ability to support each other and finish the game strong was praised by their coach. They advance to the regional final with confidence and pride.

The Mississippi College softball team is one win away from the NCAA Division II Super Regionals. The Choctaws held off Tampa for a 6-3 on Friday afternoon
