At the recent Scrapin the Coast event in Biloxi, law enforcement issued 406 citations over two days, with 120 specifically for squatted vehicles. The law, signed by Gov. Tate Reeves, fines offenders \$100 for a first offense, \$200 for a second, and \$300 plus a one-year license suspension for a third. Legislators cite safety concerns, including reduced visibility and rollover risks, referencing a fatal accident involving a child. Fines fund driver education programs.
