Millsaps to become first Mississippi college to offer women’s flag football
SUMMARY: Women’s flag football is expanding to the collegiate level in Mississippi, with Millsaps College set to be the first institution in the state to offer the sport to female student-athletes. Launching as a club sport in spring 2026, it will become Millsaps’ 19th varsity sport by spring 2027. Athletics Director Justin LeBlanc emphasized the program’s role in creating new opportunities and inspiring leadership. Flag football is rapidly growing nationwide, with over 65 NCAA schools sponsoring women’s teams and its inclusion in the 2028 Olympics. Jackson State alum Tramell Tillman wins Emmy for ‘Severance’ role

Charlie Kirk murder suspect ‘not cooperating’ with authorities, says Utah governor

Southern Miss football beats App State for first Sun Belt win in nearly 2 years
