Military family reunites at Ole Miss game against Texas A&M

Kyle Rogers, who was stationed in Egypt, surprised his wife Elizabeth and their sons Ryan, Josh, and Adam during the game. The Rogers family was chosen to receive the Old Miss wish, a program by the University of Mississippi office of Veteran and military services that aims to create unforgettable experiences for military families. Not only were they reunited, but Elizabeth and her sons also had special roles during the game, and they were surprised with an all-expenses-paid vacation to Dollywood by country music star Dolly Parton.

There was not a dry eye at Vaught Hemingway Stadium as a military family was reunited during the Ole Miss vs. Texas A&M game on Saturday.

SUMMARY: The game was a close one as the Cougars faced a must-win situation with a packed crowd at Cougar Field. In the top of the first inning, a double play by the third baseman helped the Cougars get out of a tight spot. In the bottom of the first, Dalton Tutor hit towards third but another double play ended the inning scoreless. The game remained tied until the bottom of the third when Eli Holloway hit a solo home run, giving the Cougars their first lead. The Cougars held on to win 3-2 and advance to the north half championship series.
