‘Mid-South Wedding Crasher’ captured in Mississippi
SUMMARY: Sandra Lynn Henson, also known as the “Mid-South Wedding Crasher,” has been arrested in Pontotoc County, Mississippi after crashing weddings in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama. Instead of just attending the weddings, Henson was stealing gifts from the newlyweds and money and credit cards from guests. She is facing charges of petit larceny, trespassing, and disturbing the peace. Henson had previously been arrested in 2019 for crashing weddings in Alabama and had her probation revoked after more incidents in Mississippi and Tennessee. She was supposed to be in jail until 2025 but was released early for unknown reasons.

Southern Miss earns first win of Huff era as Golden Eagles take down Jackson State 38-20
SUMMARY: Charles Huff earned his first win as Southern Miss head coach as the Golden Eagles defeated Jackson State 38-20 in Hattiesburg. Southern Miss took an early lead with a blocked punt touchdown and maintained control throughout the game. Quarterback Braylon Braxton threw for 214 yards and three touchdowns, connecting often with Bralon Brown. Jackson State’s JaCobian Morgan passed for 131 yards but threw an interception late in the game. Defensively, Southern Miss’s Mathis Haygood and MaLik Caswell made key plays. Southern Miss improves to 1-1 and will face Appalachian State next, while Jackson State also stands at 1-1 before hosting Tuskegee.
