MHSAA football state championships will return to Southern Miss this year

SUMMARY: The Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) has announced that the football state championships will take place at Southern Miss this year. The schedule includes Class 3A and Class 7A matches on December 5, followed by Class 1A and Class 5A on December 6, and concluding with Class 2A, Class 4A, and Class 6A on December 7. Last year’s championships were held at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, with the previous two years at The Rock in Hattiesburg.
