SUMMARY: Mississippi Senator Angela Burks-Hill expressed dissatisfaction with her removal from the Senate Education Committee by Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann, after over a decade of service. Citing her contributions to third-grade reading legislation and gender fairness in sports, Burks-Hill speculated her conservative stance may be the reason for the change. Hosemann’s spokesperson rationalized it as bringing new perspectives to address upcoming educational topics. Some half-gallon cartons of Moo-llenium Crunch were mistakenly labeled in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough containers with Moo-llenium Crunch lids. Since Moo-llenium Crunch contains almonds, walnuts, and pecans, the recall warns customers with nut allergies of potential serious reactions. The mislabeled cartons can be identified by a specific code on the lid. Retailers across multiple states, including Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas, are affected.
