Manhunt underway after Saucier detainee escapes police custody
SUMMARY: Harrison County law enforcement is seeking public assistance to locate Joseph Rigell Rayborn, a 29-year-old from Saucier, who escaped custody over the weekend. Rayborn fled after being detained for a domestic dispute and an outstanding probation violation warrant related to a burglary charge. Despite being handcuffed, he managed to elude capture, resulting in an injured officer during the pursuit. Rayborn was last seen at 8:30 p.m. on Saucier Fairly Road, no longer in handcuffs. He is described as 6 feet tall, 135 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, last seen in a white tank top and light-colored shorts. Ole Miss left tackle Diego Pounds earned co-offensive lineman of the week honors for helping backup quarterback Trinidad Chambliss lead the Rebels to a 41-35 win over Arkansas, playing all 75 snaps and allowing just one sack.
