Major subdivision plans coming to Tupelo

SUMMARY: The city of Tupelo planning committee will review several major subdivision plans in its upcoming meeting. One proposed plan involves a 57-lot subdivision near Veterans Park, which will potentially connect to the park. There is also a proposal for expanding the fish hatchery in Tupelo, including the addition of an administration building. Additionally, six duplexes are being considered for construction off of inville Road in West Tupelo. The planning committee will assess the compatibility of these plans with their proposed locations. The veterans complex will provide a walking space that connects to Veterans Park, featuring smaller quarter acre lots. The committee will convene on September 11th at City Hall.
