Louisiana man charged with threatening Mississippi school
SUMMARY: A Louisiana man, Joshua Dawson, was arrested for making terrorist threats at Dexter Attendance Center in Walthall County. The authorities were notified of the incident on September 24, and Dawson was arrested the following day by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. He waived extradition and was taken to the Walthall County jail, facing two charges of making terroristic threats. Notably, Dawson was also a suspect in a similar threat made in March against the same attendance center.

Interview: Oren Dunn City Museum hosting Ultimate Dough Burger Bake-Off on Oct. 12

New Aberdeen fire chief settling into new role
