Long Beach’s Fall Sidewalk Sale starts a new shopping season

SUMMARY: Several businesses in a town near the town green are participating in a one-day sales event. Janice Conoway, owner of a gift shop called “Mockingbird Lane,” opened her shop just one year before this event. The event allows businesses to sell older merchandise at discounted prices to make room for new merchandise. Other businesses, such as “Sister Swank” boutique and “Simply Jane” clothing, are also participating. Along with several other businesses, there is an ice cream and nutrition shop participating in the event as well.

The City of Long Beach welcomed in the first day of fall Saturday with its second annual Fall Sidewalk Sale.
