LIVE: Rouses to open new store in Biloxi

SUMMARY: Construction is underway to transform the old Winn Dixie store on Pass Road in Biloxi into a new Rouses grocery store. The new store will be about 60,000 square feet, making it much larger than the existing small pantry shops and Walmart in the area. The Rouses grocery store will offer fresh and local produce, seafood, and other meats, as well as a full-service deli and bakery. It is estimated to create about 100 jobs for the area. The construction is progressing smoothly, and the store is expected to open in 2024.

A new Rouses location is set to open in fall 2024 in the old Winn Dixie building on Pass Road in Biloxi. Amber Spradley joins us live with more.
