LCBS sets aside funds for sheriff to buy full-body scanner for jail
SUMMARY: The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office in Mississippi is enhancing security at the county jail by acquiring a full-body scanner to reduce contraband. The Lowndes County Board of Supervisors has allocated up to $125,000 for the scanner, similar to those used by the TSA.
