Morning weather forecast: 10/15/2024
SUMMARY: Good Tuesday morning! We’re seeing light drizzle in Eastern Kentucky, particularly in northern Morgan and southern Elliott counties, with scattered sprinkles possible. Most areas remain dry, but pack an umbrella as rain chances increase this afternoon. Temperatures are in the upper 30s to upper 40s. A disturbance will bring more showers later, possibly with grapple, but they should dissipate by tonight. Expect colder temperatures and potential frost, especially in sheltered areas. As high pressure moves in, prepare for clear skies and more frost overnight into Thursday. Cover or bring in vulnerable plants to protect them from the cold.
Bring in those plants tonight! Those beautiful mums that capture the spirit of fall need to be brought inside or covered up as temperatures take a tumble during the night, with frosty conditions possible!
