The storm causing the rain will move along the Gulf Coast to the east, resulting in slowly decreasing clouds on Thursday. Temperatures will range from the upper 50s in the morning to near 80 degrees in the afternoon with limited sunshine. Winds will come from the east. Ahead of a cold front expected to pass through Mississippi late Friday, isolated showers are possible. Temperatures will decrease over the weekend and into next week, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. In the tropics, Tropical Storm Sean has developed in the Eastern Atlantic and is predicted to move northwestward over open waters in the next few days. It is expected to weaken into a Tropical Depression next week. Another disturbance behind Tropical Storm Sean has a 30% chance of becoming a cyclone over the next several days.
