Jubilee Havens opening new shelter to house victims of sex trafficking
This coming Monday at the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce Main Street Tourism Bureau, Jubilee Havens will cut the ribbon on a new shelter.
The new facility, known as the Whistle Stop, will be a temporary pause for women rescued from sex trafficking.

Health advisories issued for two Mississippi Gulf Coast beaches – Magnolia State Live

SUMMARY: A 3.3-magnitude seafloor earthquake in the Gulf of Mexico will not affect marine life near the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Moby Solangi, director of the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies, said a quake of this size would have no effect on dolphins and other marine animals. For marine life to be harmed, the seafloor would have to fracture, flip over or show major damage at the fault line.
