JSU excited for first home game of the season

SUMMARY: Jackson State University (JSU) fans and the players and coaches are eagerly anticipating their first home game this season. After playing four consecutive away games, the Tigers will finally return to Veterans Memorial Stadium to face off against Bethune-Cookman. The last time JSU had such a road-heavy start was in 2019. Head Coach TK Taylor expressed his excitement about being able to prepare for the game at home and enjoy the comforts of being in their own beds with their families. It has been a challenging month on the road, but the team is looking forward to being back home.

There’s no place like home. The Jackson State football team will have their first home game of the season this Saturday night when they host Bethune-Cookman. The Tigers have endured four straight road games to open the year for the first time since the 2019 season. Now they have a chance to win their first SWAC game in front of their hometown fans.
