Jackson woman pleads guilty to fatal shooting at gas station

SUMMARY: A Jackson woman, Lashundra Bass, pled guilty to second degree murder just before her trial began. She was an accomplice in the murder of Marcus Moore, who was shot in the back of the head at a gas station parking lot on June 4, 2022. The shooter was identified as Shydarius Williams, who left the scene with Moore in the vehicle. Bass was sentenced to 22 years in prison with two years suspended and a two-year post-release supervision. Moore died from his injuries as a result of the shooting.
