Jackson woman has $3K water bill
SUMMARY: Sandra Harris received a shockingly high water bill of over $3000 from JXN Water, which she believes is unjustified as she does not use that much water. She suspects the high bill is related to a waterline rupture caused by a gas company crew in February, which has led to water leaking mysteriously around her property. When Harris contacted JXN Water about the issue, they suggested she may have a leak on her property. JXN Water stated that resolving billing issues is complex and requires cooperation from the customer. Harris is dissatisfied with the response and is struggling to pay the bill.
