How to prevent knee injuries
SUMMARY: In this dialogue, Brooks discusses knee therapy with a physical therapist. They touch on using the BOSU ball for exercises and emphasize the importance of band work in therapy. Bands offer varying resistance levels, making them versatile for people with different strengths. The therapist recommends lateral walking with a band to strengthen the hip and, thus, support the knee. They also demonstrate knee exercises like squats and calf raises with resistance bands, emphasizing their role in strengthening the knee area. Even without equipment, body weight exercises like sit-to-stands or leg raises can help. Movement is crucial for knee health.
