SUMMARY: Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, known for his influence on global affairs during the Nixon and Ford presidencies, passed away at the age of 100. His diplomatic efforts included the extrication of the US from Vietnam, the establishment of ties with China, and the pursuit of peace in the Middle East and with the Soviet Union. Sister of Mississippi man who died after police pulled him from car rejects lawsuit settlement
SUMMARY: A woman rejected a settlement from Jackson, Mississippi after officials disclosed the amount they would pay her for her brother's death at the hands of three police officers. George Robinson died in 2019 after being pulled from a car by the officers. The city settled for $17,786, but the woman's attorney claimed the city violated a confidentiality agreement and will continue to sue.
