Hattiesburg receives grant to help upgrade City Hall

The City of Hattiesburg received a community heritage preservation grant to renovate City Hall, with funds issued by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. Mayor Toby Barker sees this as a big deal, as it also preserves the building and its functionality for another generation. City Hall is one of 38 historic landmarks in Hattiesburg registered through the Mississippi Department of Archives.

Interview: Gumtree Museum to showcase anniversary artwork

2025 Independence Celebration held at The Rez
