SUMMARY: Today, Bustin the Third, Ja-Liyah Chandler, Hannah Courtney, and Jasmine Ducksworth graduated from the Hattiesburg Police and Fire Training Academy. They endured 17 weeks and 580 hours of intense physical, firearm, and academic training. The graduates expressed their enjoyment in getting to know their fellow classmates and building strong bonds with them. They are excited to become new police officers and help the community, particularly the areas surrounding their college, USM. The ceremony included the swearing-in of the graduates by Hattiesburg Mayor Toby Barker, as they proudly wore the black and blue of the Forty-Second Recruit Class.
