Gunasekara appeals to U.S. Supreme Court to be reinstated on ballot

Cause of deadly propane explosion in Copiah County undetermined; attorney continuing to investigate
SUMMARY: The State Fire Marshal has not determined the cause of a deadly propane explosion in Copiah County that killed four and injured two on January 14. Initial fatalities were Houston Jordan, 18, and Tolar Jordan, 14; followed by Benji Jordan, 43, and Jeremy Mitchell, 52. An attorney from Morgan and Morgan is conducting an independent investigation to pursue a civil lawsuit for potential negligence. Mitzi Jordan and Samantha Britt, who were injured, are suing Herring Gas for allegedly improperly installing or inspecting a propane tank. They seek compensation for damages and expenses.

SUMMARY: Ronnie Hales, a 44-year-old man from Ridgeland, pled guilty to gratification of lust after molesting his girlfriend's 10-year-old daughter.
