Georgia dad accused of cruelty starts third trial | FOX 5 News
SUMMARY: Clair Barrow’s father is back in court for a third trial after previous juries were unable to reach a verdict regarding his role in the death of his daughter, 8-year-old Sarah Barrow. Prosecutors believe they have a solid case against him for child cruelty, alleging he failed to protect her from her stepmother, who is accused of beating her to death. Former DeKalb County District Attorney Robert James is reassessing the prosecution’s strategy, especially after previous juries’ dynamics affected their decisions. The court is currently working on selecting a new jury to determine Barrow’s fate once again.
Cledir Barros, the Gwinnett County father charged in the death of his 8-year-old daughter, is back in court for the third time in a little over a month.
