SUMMARY: Southern Miss quarterback Billy Wiles started his first collegiate game and led the team to their first touchdown of the season. On their first drive, Wiles handed off to Frank Gore Jr. for an 18-yard gain. A few plays later, Wiles faked a handoff and threw a pass to Jakcarius Caston for a touchdown.
