Detectives inquired about Maddie Soto possibly being pregnant
SUMMARY: Recent interviews in the Matty Sto case provide new insights, particularly concerning the possibility of Maddie being pregnant before her death. In footage from February 28th, Maddie’s mother, Jen SoDo, was questioned by detectives about a pregnancy test found in their home. Just hours after the interview, Maddie’s body was located in St. Cloud. Investigators are focusing on her boyfriend, Stephan Sterns, as the main suspect, with him indicted for her murder on April 24th. Detectives have inquired about Maddie’s menstrual cycle, suggesting the possibility of pregnancy, but confirmation remains pending from the state attorney’s office.
More interviews with Madeline Soto’s mother, Jenn Soto, have been released by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators suggested the possibility that Maddie may have been pregnant before her death, though this has not been confirmed.

Here's how you can save some money
SUMMARY: This week, the Federal Reserve cut interest rates by half a percentage point, potentially affecting personal finances. While this change may not automatically result in savings, it offers opportunities for individuals to reassess their financial situations. Many, like Miami resident Fabiani Crespo, struggle with high living costs despite earning a substantial salary. Investment banker Jim Cassell suggests using this rate cut to refinance loans, including student debt and mortgages, which can lead to significant savings. Homeowners could lock in lower mortgage rates, potentially saving thousands annually, while consumers should explore debt consolidation and negotiate lower credit card rates.
One day after the Federal Reserve lowered interest rates, CBS News Miami is exploring how the move can help you save money on loans, credit cards and mortgages.

Residents near I-275 push back against proposed widening project
SUMMARY: Hillsboro County faces opposition from local residents concerning proposed I275 expansion aimed at alleviating traffic growth. Local resident Jason Marlo emphasizes that increasing traffic, noise, and pollution will negatively impact their quality of life and property values. Many community members argue against spending nearly half a billion dollars on a project that merely adds lanes when alternatives, like enhancing public transportation, could be more effective. Past efforts to expand I275 met similar resistance a decade ago, and frustrated residents are ready to organize against the current proposal, highlighting their desire to preserve their neighborhood’s integrity.
The project would add north and south bound lanes between the Hillsborough Avenue and Bearss Avenue exits.
