Funeral for Dexter Wade held in Jackson

An independent autopsy, released by Attorney Ben Crump, revealed Wade was struck by a cruiser and suffered multiple injuries. Despite Wade being identified through fingerprints, his mother wasn't informed of his until months later. Wade's body was inappropriately managed and only recently exhumed from a pauper's field. Monroe County leaders take to streets for good cause

SUMMARY: Members of Monroe County's enforcement and Aberdeen participated in the Special Olympics Mississippi Torch , a fundraiser for the Special Olympics. from the Aberdeen Department and Monroe County Sheriff's Office, along with the new Mayor of Aberdeen and Police Chief, escorted the torch through town. The torch will be escorted by law enforcement agencies across the state until it reaches for the Special Olympics Summer .
