SUMMARY: One Area Elementary School is improving its campus by adding beauty with the help of a local home improvement store. Students at Earl Trivillion Attendance Center were hard at work today making sure their playground was not only safe, but also looked good. This project came about from a trip to Home Depot, where Melissa Stidham, a member of the school community, knew their school needed a few things to make the community look better. The students took it upon themselves to pour and spread the materials, making their playground a safer and more beautiful place for everyone.

A high-pressure system will move in by Thursday, bringing well-above-average temperatures. Heat indices may reach 107–110 degrees by Friday, especially west of I-55 in Mississippi.
