SUMMARY: Today kicks off our back-to-school coverage where we bring you the information you need to know about your children’s school districts. Our reporter, Kyra Lampley, spoke with a principal from the Forrest County School District to learn what you need to know for the upcoming school year. Soon, students will fill these yellow buses and head back to school. With the school year beginning sooner this year, the North Forrest School District says that they are ready for what’s to come. North Forrest High School Principal Jennifer Riels says that attendance is one of the district’s top priorities.

The first day of school for the district will be Friday, July 21.
